A fee or a rule has changed

Name the state, county or city, the record (birth, death, marriage, divorce, marriage license) and the official page that shows the new figure. Legislatures and county boards raise fees on July 1 or January 1 more often than at any other time, and an office sometimes updates its order form before its web page. We read the page again, correct the sheet, and the pages rebuild with the new date.

What we cannot do

We are not a vital records office or an ordering service. We cannot order, find, correct or certify a record, check the status of an order or speed it up. Please do not send names, dates of birth, case numbers or copies of documents: we have no use for them and delete them.

Using the calculator on your site

Funeral homes, libraries, legal aid clinics and wedding venues may show the calculator in an iframe at no cost; the code is on the embed page.
